How can I book a car?
The car can be booked by phone, online, by email or just by visiting our office.
What documents do I need to rent a car?
We require a valid passport and driving license, written in Latin letters. Term of validity of at least one year.
What is the minimum age of the driver?
The minimum age of a driver is 20 years old.
What are the possible forms of payment?
You can pay the rent with credit cards (AMEX, VISA, and MasterCard), you can also pay with cash or by bank transfer.
Can I leave the deposit amount in cash?
We do not accept cash deposits, the deposit amount of 100,000 AMD regardless of car group and insurance type should be blocked on the bank card. But in the case of full insurance, the deposit blocks just for the guarantee.
Do I need to provide the number of my credit card in advance or to prepay?
No, we do not need any credit card information before the start of the rent. No prepayment is required with us.
How can I change the booking that is already confirmed?
You can change your booking by contacting our agent by e-mail. Cancelled bookings done less than 12 hours before pick up can be charged fully.
Will I have unlimited mileage when renting a car from you?
Yes, you will have unlimited mileage when renting a car from Local Cars.
If I have booked a car at the airport, how can I meet an employee?
After you pass the passport control and take your luggage you will find our rental agent at the arrival hall waiting for you with a sign of your name.
Can I drive the car outside the borders of Armenia?
Yes, you can drive the car in the territory of Georgia. But in case of crossing the border with Georgia an authorization document must be purchased from our office in advance.
What types of insurance do you offer?
We offer two types of insurance: standard and full package. TPL and CDW with a franchise are already included in the price.
The full insurance package includes the standard insurance, but in this case, the sum of not covered liability is equal to zero. And you do have any financial responsibilities.
What should be done in case of an accident?
In case of an accident you must stop the car and inform us or/and the insurance company about the accident. All the necessary contact information will be provided during the car pick-up.
What should be done if the car is broken?
Contact our office 24/7 available number for instructions and assistance.
Is it possible to pick up a car at one rental point and hand it over at another point?
Yes, it's possible, but you should inform us about that in advance and there is no extra charge for that.
In which form should the car be handed and returned?
The car must be clean and with a full tank of petrol.
When will I be refunded the money, blocked on the card as a security deposit?
The period of repayment depends on the client’s bank, approximately 20 days.
